After five hulls, building the sixth has become almost routine. In the spacious new workshop the basic foam hull for the second main hull half comes together in only a few days, using the fast vertical-strip method—with lessons learned, fewer clamps, and a workflow tuned for single-handed progress.
Boatbuilding again
After having built five hulls, this last — the sixth — has become more or less routine. In the spacious new workshop I now only need a few days to build the basic foam hull. The construction method using vertical foam strips is straightforward, fast, and well suited to working single-handed.
