The differences between the F-39 frames to the left and the F-36 frames to the right, are considerable. The F-39 floats are 40 mm. wider and have a asymmetrical shape, giving them 15% more buoyancy. However, this picture is overdoing this as the F-36 frames gives the actual hull shape (used with for and aft foam strips) and the F-39 frames are 18 mm. wider in favor of the stringers to hold the vertical foam strips.
