Sailors Forum
In an attempt to make this website universally readable, I wrote it in English—at least that’s what I tried, with plenty of help from Google Translate.
English is not my mother tongue, and writing what I want to share with you takes time. I do my best, but I can’t always spot mistakes in grammar and vocabulary. I hope you don’t mind—and please give me a nudge when something is seriously off.
Nevertheless, a Dutch version has often been requested. Keeping track of a second language across the whole website is still too much work for me, and I’m not sure how to tackle it efficiently.
Instead, I found a good solution: using the Dutch Sailors Forum. A nice bonus is that the forum is very interactive, which often leads to interesting discussions.

Zeilersforum
In een poging om een universeel leesbare website te maken, heb ik die in het Engels geschreven. Aangezien mijn Engels maar heel beperkt is heb ik vooral veel hulp van Google nodig.
De website wordt goed bezocht maar mist een Nederlandstalige versie. In feite is mij dat te veel werk, ook al omdat ik niet precies weet hoe ik dat zo efficient mogelijk kan doen.
Echter in het Zeilersforum heb ik een heel leuk alternatief gevonden met als bijkomend voordeel dat dit ook nog eens zeer interactief is. Ik krijg commentaar en advies en wat is nou nog leuker dan over mijn bootje lullen.
Mijn bijnaam op het forum is "Noballast". Ook ben ik één van de moderatoren. Hieronder heb ik een aantal verwijzingen naar de onderwerpen over FRAM opgenomen.
