The rudderblade mold is made oversized with a 4mm vinyl to allow for a low profile carpet along the inside faces of the rudder sleeve. The vinyl is a piece I found somewhere in the workshop, but it is quite stiff. So I put in in a vacuum bag to get it tight around the rudder blade. This worked out quite well and the vacuum bag provide a releasable surface as well.
