The whole area will be covered with an extra laminate layer which is recessed in the foam to prevent laminate build up and easier fairing later on. At the top of this photo there is a square area where the foam has been removed. This is the place where the inner and external laminate meet each other. Four 10mm stainless steel bolts will prevent a possible delamination in this high load area.
